HOTLINE

The National AIDS Hotline provides a compassionate listening service.

Confidentiality Is Our Lifeline
This service is extended to all persons requesting clear, simple but accurate information on HIV and AIDS.

We listen and make the appropriate referrals allowing you to share whatever concerns you may have.

You Don’t Have to Say Who Is Calling

Our callers are not only persons who are infected or at risk to contracting HIV. Anyone can call.

Some callers are individuals, friends and families who seek information on how to care, yet protect themselves and others.

We are not concerned with your identity. We just want to know that your concerns have been heard.

All Our Volunteers Are Trained
The hotline is staffed by trained volunteers from all walks of life such as nurses, teachers, mothers, wives, homeworkers, artists, artisans and ordinary people who care and understand.

They are trained to listen and are sensitive to the issues of HIV and AIDS. They will also give information and referrals on living with HIV and AIDS.

You Too Can Call

The AIDS Hotline is open from 9:30 am to 10:00 pm
Mondays to Fridays.

Telephone 436-2444 OR 436-AIDS (That’s 436-2437)
