The St. George Farmers’ Cooperative was officially registered in 1985. The Coop. was established so that farmers from St. George and its immediate environs could come together for the marketing of their produce and to benefit from the supply of inputs for their farms. To date, the Coop. has 40 members with most involved in the production of a wide variety of vegetables and herbs.

The Coop. is presently seeking to expand its operation so as to better serve its membership as well as its customers, who benefit daily from the Coop’s high quality produce at reasonable prices.
